Charlotte Rankin was recently appointed CEO of the Community Medical Clinic (CMC), following the retirement of long-serving CEO Susan Witkowski. Charlotte brings a wealth of experience to her new role, previously serving as the Chief Administrative Officer of SC Thrive, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating healthy, thriving communities through access to quality-of-life resources. Her career includes leadership roles as Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Kershaw County and Administrator for Encounter Care Solutions.

Charlotte earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from North Carolina State University and is a Society of Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). She and her husband, Scott, have lived in Camden since  1994, where they raised their two sons, Hunter and Parker. She is also deeply involved in Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church, where she has held multiple leadership positions.

Under Charlotte’s leadership, CMC continues its mission of providing essential healthcare to the uninsured and underserved, while advancing its vision of building stronger families and healthier communities through its primary care services and initiatives like the LiveWell Kershaw Coalition, which promotes population health countywide.
